My practice primarily focuses on paintings, both figurative and abstract, as I enjoy the flexibility that both allow me. My work is created through a lens that is influenced by Black culture, my southern upbringing, collective memory, comics, and Hip-Hop.

With these authorities present within my work, I’m able to bring a sense of whimsy to occurrences that are commonplace in the everyday, highlighting the common threads that tether us.
